<br />SWC: st 6/30/81 <br />7/9/81 R <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />890L <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />JUL 1 3 1981 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH KAINOS HOME AND TRAINING CENTER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Kainos Horne and Training Center has been established <br /> <br />for the principal purpose of providing a permanent residential <br /> <br />facility to train mentally retarded adults, and offices to serve <br /> <br />as a center for the handicapped population in the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Kainos Horne and Training Center has requested financial <br /> <br />assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during the <br /> <br />fiscal year commencing July, 1981 and ending June 30, 1982; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request <br /> <br />and desires to pay to Kainos Horne and Training Center the sum of <br /> <br />Two Thousand and No/IOO Dollars ($2,000.00) and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval <br /> <br />an agreement between the City of Redwood City and Kainos Horne <br /> <br />and Training Center, and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 7/09'/81')' by and between the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City and Kainos Horne and Training Center, a copy <br /> <br />of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, <br /> <br />to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, <br /> <br />is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and <br /> <br />directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />8 901 <br />
