SWC: st 7/8/81 RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 8902 ORIGINAL JUL 1 3 1981 RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREIDffiNT WITH SAN ~1ATEO COUNTY CO~1MUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT WHEREAS, Retired Senior Volunteer Program (R.S.V.P.) has been established by the San Mateo County Community college District for the purpose of providing meaningful volunteer opportunities to Senior Citizens in the City of Redwood City; and WHEREAS, the San Mateo County Community College District has requested financial assistance for use by it in conducting its act- ivities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1981, and ending June 30, 1982; and WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to py to the San Mateo County Community College District the sum of Four Thousand Five Hundred and No/IOO Dollars ($4,500.00); and WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an agreement between the City of Redwood City and the San Mateo Coun- ty College District, and it is the intention and desire of this Coun- cil to approve the same; NOW, THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: That certain agreement (form dated 7/8/81), by and between the City of Redwood City and San Mateo County Community College District, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. * * * 8 902
