That this Council: <br /> <br />(a) Approves the filing of an application for California <br />ParklandsAct of 1980 Funds for Hoover School Park in <br />the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />(b) Certifies that the City of Redwood City understands <br />the general provisions to be included in any agree- <br />ment between the City of Redwood City and the State <br />of California for the receipt of such California <br />Parklan~Act of 1980 Funds by the City; and <br /> <br />(c) Certifies that the City of Redwood City has or will <br />have sufficient funds to operate and maintain Hoover <br />School Park which is to be funded pursuant to the <br />abovementioned program; and <br /> <br />(d) Certifies that Hoover School Park is consistent with <br />the Park and Recreation Element of the General Plan <br />of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />2. That the City Manager is authorized and directed to con- <br /> <br />duct all negotiations, execute and submit all documents (including <br /> <br />but not limited to applications, ,agreements, amendments, and <br /> <br />payment requests) which may be necessary for the improvements to <br /> <br />be constructed at Hoover School Park in the city of Redwood City. <br /> <br />3.
