RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIAL PROVISIONS FOR RESURFACING OF DESIGNATED STREETS; AND AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR WHEREAS, special provisions have been prepared by the Department of Public Works for the resurfacing of Marshall Street fro~ Main Street to Arguello Street; Brewster Avenue from El Camino Real to Elwood Street; Broadway from EI Camino Real to Elwood Street; Roosevelt Avenue from Alameda de las Pulgas to Fairview Avenue; Upton Street from Roosevelt Avenue to Jefferson Avenue; Alameda de las Pulgas from Edgewood Road to Eaton Avenue; King Street from Jefferson Avenue to Whipple Avenue; Harrison Avenue from Myrtle Street to King Street; and Topaz Street from Harding Avenue to Brewster Avenue; and WHEREAS, the Council fo the City of Redwood City desires to approve the said special provisions and authorize and direct the City Clerk to call for bids for the resurfacing of the above mentioned streets; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: That those certain special provisions entitled "Special provisions for the Construction of Redwood City's Resurfacing Project - 1981-82, in the City of Redwood City, California"{includ- ing plans and standard specifications referenced therein), a copy of which is presently on file in the office of the Department of Public Works, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars concerning the terms and conditions thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to call for bids for the above mentioned resurfacing program. * * * 8945
