<br />1. That this Council: <br /> <br />(a) Approves the filing of an application for an <br />appropriation from the Energy and Resources Fund <br />for Hoover School Park in the City of Redwood City <br />pursuant to the Roberti - Z'Berg Open-Space and <br />Recreation Program~ and <br /> <br />(b) Certifies that the City of Redwood City understands <br />the general provisions to be included in any agreement <br />between the City of Redwood City and the State of <br />California for the receipt of such funds by the City~ and <br /> <br />(c) Certifies that the City of Redwood City has or will <br />have sufficient funds to operate and maintain Hoover <br />School Park which is to be funded pursuant to the <br />abovementioned program~ and <br /> <br />(d) Certifies that the City of Redwood City has or will have <br />available prior to the commencement of any work on <br />Hoover School Park matching money from a non-state <br />source~ and <br /> <br />(e) Certifies that Hoover School Park conforms to the Park <br />and Recreation Element of the General Plan of the City <br />of Redwood City. <br /> <br />2. That the City Manager is authorized and directed to conduct <br /> <br />all negotiations, execute and submit all documents (including but <br /> <br />not limited to applications, agreements, amendments, and payment <br /> <br />requests) which may be necessary for the improvements to be constructed <br /> <br />at Hoover School Park in the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />3. That the City Attorney is authorized and directed to sign <br /> <br />the required certification on the applciation for an appropriation <br /> <br />from the Energy and Resources Fund for Hoover School Park. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />-2- <br />
