<br />CGH:djg-c 9/8/81 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />8969 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />SEP 21 1981 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT <br />ITJ THE VICINITY OF BAIR ISLAND ROAD AT BAYSHORE FREEWAY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has advised this <br /> <br />Council that the hereinafter described public utility easement is <br /> <br />no longer necessary or needed for municipal purposes or for present <br /> <br />or prospective public use; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Article 5 (commencing at Section 50430) of Chapter 2, <br /> <br />Part 1, Division 1, Title 5, of the Government Code provides a <br /> <br />procedure for the vacation of easements by local authorities; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The Council of the City of Redwood City hereby declares <br /> <br />its intention to vacate the hereinafter described public utility <br /> <br />easement pursuant to the aforementioned Government Code provisions. <br /> <br />2. The above mentioned public utility easement which is to <br /> <br />be vacated is more particularly described as follows: <br /> <br />A PORTION of that certain public utility easement and proposed <br />private ingress/egress easement lying within Parcel 3 as said <br />parcel is shown on that certain Parcel Map No. 79-10, recorded <br />in Volume 48 of Parcel Maps at Pages 26 and 27, Records of <br />San Mateo County, California; said easements being also shown <br />as a portion of Parcel A of that certain Parcel Map No. 80-4, <br />recorded in Volume 49 of Parcel Maps at Page 75, Records of <br />San Mateo County, California; said portion being more particularly <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />BEGINNING at an angle point in the hereinabove described ingress/ <br />egress easement line, and being common with the angle point of <br />the parcel line between Parcel D and Parcel A as shown on said <br />Parcel Map 80-4, at the Northwesterly terminus of the course <br />shown as bearing North 88040'20" West, 117.01 feet; thence from <br />said point of beginning along the common parcel line between <br />Parcel D and Parcel A North P19'40" East, 15.00 feet; thence <br />North 88040'20" West, 60.75 feet; thence leaving said parcel <br />line South P19'40" West, 15.00 feet;thence South 88040'20" East, <br />60.87 feet to the point of beginning. <br /> <br />3. A public hearing for all interested persons shall be <br /> <br />held on <br /> <br />OCT 2 6 <br /> <br />, 1981, at the hour of 7:30 p.m., <br /> <br />8969 <br />
