RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF TWO AGREEMENTS WITH THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO FOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL PROJECTS OCT 26 1981 WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo has proposed to allocate to the City of Redwood City certain gasoline tax monies pursuant to Government Code Section 2106, towards the cost of traffic signal projects at Whipple Avenue and Arguello Street and Middlefield Road and Marshall Street in the City of Redwood City; and WHEREAS, there have been presented to this Council two proposed agreements - one for each signal system - between the City of Redwood City and the County of San Mateo, for partial funding by the County, and construction by the City of Redwood City; and WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve said agreements and to authorize execution thereof by the City; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: Those certain agreements by and between the City of Redwood City and the County of San Mateo entitled "Agreement Between the County of San Mateo and the City of Redwood City for the Middlefield/Marshall Street Signal Project" and "Agreement Between the County of San Mateo and the City of Redwood City for the Whipple Avenue/Arguello Street Traffic Signal Project", copies of which agreements are on file in the office of the City Clerk to which copies reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, are hereby approved. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute said agreements for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. * * * 8983
