<br />SWC:djg-c 10/21/81 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N Q. 898 7 <br /> <br />OCT 2 6 1981 <br />OmGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br />FOR WEED ABATE!1ENT BY DISKING - 1981-82 AND <br />AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Redwood City Code Chapter 14 provides for a <br /> <br />procedure for the abatement of undesirable vegetation, weeds, <br /> <br />rubbish and rank growth in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in order to accomplish said weed abatement <br /> <br />program within the City, it is necessary and desirable that <br /> <br />certain disking work be performed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, specifications for disking work have been prepared <br /> <br />by the Director of Public Works; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Those certain specifications entitled "Specifications <br /> <br />and General Requirements to Bidders-Weed Eradication-Disking- <br /> <br />1981-82-Redwood City, California" a copy of which specifications <br /> <br />is presently on file in the office of the Department of Public <br /> <br />Works, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars <br /> <br />thereof, is hereby approved. <br /> <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />advertise for bids for the performance of weed eradication in <br /> <br />accordance with the above mentioned specifications. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />8987 <br />
