<br />CGM:djg-c 11/18/8l <br /> <br />OR1G \ NAL <br />NOV 23 '1981 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />No.9008 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR FUro~ISHING OF FUEL SECURITY AND <br />ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 8948, adopted August 24, 1981, <br /> <br />the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of a fuel security <br /> <br />and access control system in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, one bid was received for the <br /> <br />furnishing of such e~~ipment and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, RUSCO ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS, Glendale, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to said company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of RUSCO ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS, in the amount of Fifty- <br /> <br />three Thousand One Hundred Ninety and 19/100 Dollars ($53,190.19), <br /> <br />computed in accordance with bidder's proposal, dated October 2, 1981 <br /> <br />for the furnishing of a fuel security and access control system <br /> <br />(including installation) is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby <br /> <br />found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the furnish- <br /> <br />ing of such equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to enter <br /> <br />into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that certain <br /> <br />agreement entitled "Agreement" by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City and RUSCO ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS for the furnishing of said equipment <br /> <br />in accordance with the abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which <br /> <br />agreement is presently on file in the office of the City Clerk to <br /> <br />which reference is hereby made for full particulars concerning the <br /> <br />terms and conditions thereof. <br /> <br />9008 <br />
