<br />CG~ jg-c 1/7/82 <br /> <br />9036 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />JAN 11 1982 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR ALTERATIONS TO VETERANS MEMORIAL <br />BUILDING; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN <br />OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 9006, adopted November 16, <br /> <br />1981, the city Clerk called for bids for alterations to Veterans <br /> <br />Memorial Building in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the city Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Botieff Construction, Inc., Millbrae, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to award said bid to said Company; <br /> <br />Nm\T, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Botieff Construction, Inc. in the amount of <br /> <br />Three Hundred Eighty-eight Thousand One Hundred Fifty-three and <br /> <br />No/lOa Dollars ($388,153.00), computed in accordance with bidder's <br /> <br />proposal, dated December 29, 1981 for alterations to the Veterans <br /> <br />Memorial Building is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby <br /> <br />found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said <br /> <br />work. <br /> <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />for the abovementioned work, other than the bid mentioned in <br /> <br />paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement" by and between the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City and Botieff Construction, Inc. for the perform- <br /> <br />ance of said work in accordance with the abovementioned bid <br /> <br />9036 <br />
