<br />C :djg-c 2/25/82 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />NO. 9064 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />MAR 8 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF <br />EXTERIOR LEVEE MAINTENANCE PROJECT; AUTHO~IZING <br />EXECUTION OF CONTRACT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING <br />RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS (G.I.D. 1-64) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9038 adopted January <br /> <br />25, 1982, the City Clerk called for bids for the construction <br /> <br />of the Exterior Levee Maintenance Project in the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the city Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Fisk, Firenze and McLean, Inc., Redwood City, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to award the bid to said <br /> <br />Fisk, Firenze and McLean, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />ACTING FOR AND ON BEHALF OF REDWOOD CITY GENE PAL IMPROVEMENT <br /> <br />DISTRICT NO. 1-64 AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Fisk, Firenze and McLean, Inc. in the sum <br /> <br />of Eighty-six Thousand six Hundred tJinety-eight and 50/100 Dollars ($86,698.50), <br /> <br />in accordance with bidder's proposal, for construction of exterior <br /> <br />levee maintenance project, is hereby accepted for and on behalf <br /> <br />of Redwood City General Improvement District No. 1-64 and said <br /> <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible <br /> <br />bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />for the above mentioned work, other than the bid mentioned in <br /> <br />paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />3. The city Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of Redwood city General Improve- <br /> <br />9064 <br />
