<br />L_~:djg-c 3/16/82 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />ivlAH 2 2 1982 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />~Q.9077 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br />FOR CONSTRUCTION OF WHIPPLE AVENUE - ARGUELLO <br />STREET TRAFFIC SIGNAL MODIFICATION PROJECTiAND <br />AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there have been presented to this Council certain <br /> <br />plans and specifications for the construction of the Whipple <br /> <br />Avenue - Arguello Street Traffic Signal Modification Project <br /> <br />in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve the same and <br /> <br />authorize and direct the city Clerk to call for bids for the <br /> <br />construction of the abovementioned project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF P~DWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Those certain plans entitled "Whipple Avenue Signal <br /> <br />Modification - JI.rguello Street to El Camino Real" and those <br /> <br />certain specifications entitled "Special provisions for <br /> <br />Whipple Avenue and Arguello Street Traffic Signal Modification <br /> <br />Project" prepared in the office of the Department of Public <br /> <br />Works, are hereby approved. <br /> <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />advertise for bids for the construction of the above mentioned <br /> <br />improvements, in accordance with the plans and specifications <br /> <br />therefor, said advertisement to be in the form of that certain <br /> <br />"Notice to Contractors" set forth in the above mentioned speci- <br /> <br />fications. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9 077 <br />
