<br />CGM:mf 4/16/82 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9 09 ~,' <br /> <br />J~IGINAL <br />APR 1 9 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br />CONSTRUCTION OF A STREET LIGHTING PROJECT - TWIN <br />DOLPHIN DRIVE - PHASE I (REDWOOD SHORES); AND <br />AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there have been presented to this Council, <br /> <br />acting through and by means of powers exercisable by Redwood <br /> <br />City General Improvement District No. 1-64, certain plans and <br /> <br />specifications for the construction of a street lighting project <br /> <br />on Twin Dolphin Drive in the Redwood Shores area of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve said plans and <br /> <br />specifications and to authorize the City Clerk to call for bids <br /> <br />for the construction of said improvement; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />ACTING FOR AND ON BEHALF OF REDWOOD CITY GENERAL IMPROVEMENT <br /> <br />DISTRICT NO. 1-64, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Those certain plans entitled "Street Lighting Project - <br /> <br />Twin Dolphin Drive - Phase I - Redwood City, California," and <br /> <br />those certain specifications entitled "Contract Documents and <br /> <br />Technical Specifications For Street Lighting Project - Twin Dolphin <br /> <br />Drive - Phase I - Redwood Shores - Redwood City, California," <br /> <br />prepared in the office of the Department of Public Works, are <br /> <br />hereby approved. <br /> <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />advertise for bids for the construction of the above mentioned <br /> <br />improvement, in accordance with the plans and specifications <br /> <br />therefor, said advertisement to be in the form of that certain <br /> <br />"Notice to Contractors" set forth in the above mentioned' <br /> <br />specifications. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9 097 <br />
