<br />CGM:mf 5/12/82 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />9123 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING OF (2) <br />TWO AND ONE-HALF TON DUMP TRUCKS; AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />MAY 1 7 1982 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9063, adopted March <br /> <br />8, 1982, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of <br /> <br />(2~wo and one-half ton dump trucks; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and <br /> <br />filed with the City Clerk for the furnishing of (2) two and <br /> <br />one-half ton dump trucks; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and <br /> <br />filed with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipment; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, South Bay Ford Truck Sales, San Jose, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said <br /> <br />equipment, and it is the intention of this Council to award <br /> <br />said bid to South Bay Ford Truck Sales; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of South Bay Ford Truck Sales, in the total <br /> <br />lump sum of Forty-Nine Thousand Four Hundred Sixty-two and <br /> <br />No/100 Dollars ($49,462.00), plus sales tax for the furnishing of <br /> <br />(2)two and one-half ton dump trucks, inaccordance with the <br /> <br />bidding proposal, and in accordance with the specifications <br /> <br />therefor on file in the office of the City Clerk, is hereby <br /> <br />accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said <br /> <br />equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an <br /> <br />agreement with South Bay Ford Truck Sales for the furnishing of <br /> <br />the abovementioned equipment in accordance with, and subject <br /> <br />9123 <br />
