CGM:mf 6/24/82 RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 9148 ORiGiNAL JUN 2 8 1982 RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR CONSTRUCTION OF ROOFING AT COMMUNITY PARK RECREATION BUILDING; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9116, adopted May 17, 1982, the City Clerk called for bids for the construction of roofing at the Community Park Recreation Building in the City of Redwood City; and WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and WHEREAS, Pacific Coast Builders, Redwood City, California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to said Pacific Coast Builders; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. The bid of Pacific Coast Builders in the total amount of Thirty-five Thousand Five Hundred Ninety-seven and No/lOa Dollars ($35,597.00), computed in accordance with the bidder's proposal dated June 15, 1982, for the construction of roofing at the Community Park Recreation Building according to those special provisions entitled "Special Provisions for the Construction of Roofing at Community Park Recreation Building in the City of Redwood City," (including plans and standard specifications referenced therein) lS hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. 2.
