<br />CGM:djg-c 8/5/82 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />AUG 9 1982 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />~ 2. 9 I 7 0 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE PORTION OF' PUBLIC <br />STREET (HELLER STREET, WILLOW STREET AND LAUREL STREET) <br />IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 OF DIVISION 9, STREETS AND <br />HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA~ SETTING TIME <br />AND PLACE FOR HEARING ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN OR <br />OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED VACATION~ AND ORDERING POSTING <br />OF NOTICE OF SUCH PROPOSED VACATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a portion of Heller Street, Willow Street and <br /> <br />Laurel Street in the City of Redwood City, heretofore <br /> <br />dedicated as a public street, is not needed for present or <br /> <br />prospective street purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City intends <br /> <br />to vacate said portion of Heller Street, Willow Street and <br /> <br />Laurel Street pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 Division 9 <br /> <br />(commencing with ~8300) of the Streets and Highways Code; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City Council hereby declares its intention to <br /> <br />vacate a portion of Heller Street, Willow Street and Laurel <br /> <br />Street, as hereinafter described, and elects to proceed with <br /> <br />such vacation pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division <br /> <br />9 (commencing with ~8300) of the Streets and Highways Code. <br /> <br />2. The portion of Heller Street, Willow Street and Laurel <br /> <br />Street to be vacated is as indicated on the plat attached here- <br /> <br />to and incorporated herein by reference, entitled "Heller Street, <br /> <br />Willow Street and Laurel Street Abandonment," marked Exhibit "A", <br /> <br />and is more particularly described as set forth on Exhibit "B", <br /> <br />attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br />9 170 <br />
