<br />CGM:mf 8/5/82 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />9172 <br /> <br />ORIG1N,4l <br />AUG 9 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR WORKERS' COMPENSATION CLAIMS <br />SUPPORT SERVICES (EMPLOYEE BENEFITS INDUSTRIAL <br />SERVICE COMPANY) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires expert workers' <br /> <br />compensation claims support services in connection with the <br /> <br />City's Workers' Compensation Program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council an <br /> <br />agreement for the providing of the furnishing of such expert <br /> <br />services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council <br /> <br />to approve and authorize execution of said agreement; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreement - Administration <br /> <br />of Workers' Compensation Program" (form dated 8/4/82), by <br /> <br />and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation <br /> <br />of the State of California, and Employee Benefits Industrial <br /> <br />Service Company, a copy of which agreement is on file in the <br /> <br />office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby <br /> <br />made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved <br /> <br />and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute <br /> <br />the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9172 <br />
