<br />8/2/ <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9182 <br /> <br />ORtGfNAL <br />AUG 9 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREE}lliNT WITH POLICE YOUTH CLUB OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />CALIFORNIA, INC. <br /> <br />WHEP~AS, Police Youth Club of Redwood City, California, Inc. <br /> <br />has been established for the principal purpose of providing <br /> <br />recreational and educational activities for youth in Redwood City; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Police Youth Club of Redwood City, California, Inc. <br /> <br />has requested financial assistance for use by it in conducting <br /> <br />its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1982 and <br /> <br />ending June 30, 1983;and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request <br /> <br />and desires to pay Police Youth Club of Redwood City, California, <br /> <br />Inc. the sum of Ten Thousand and No/lOa Dollars ($10,000.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for ap- <br /> <br />proval an agreement between the City of Redwood City and Police <br /> <br />Youth Club of Redwood City, California, Inc., and it is the in." <br /> <br />tention and desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 8/2/82), by and between <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City and Police Youth Club of Redwood City, <br /> <br />California, Inc., a copy of which agreement is on file in the <br /> <br />office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made <br /> <br />for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City <br /> <br />Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same <br /> <br />for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9182 <br />
