<br />E /82 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9184 <br /> <br />ORIG/NPIL <br />AUG 9 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH COMMUNITY EDUCATION CENTER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Comnunity Education Center has been established <br /> <br />for the principal purpose of providing a bilingual preschool <br /> <br />program for children and their parents in the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Community Education Center has requested financial <br /> <br />assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during the <br /> <br />fiscal year commencing July 1, 1982 ending June 30, 1983; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request <br /> <br />and desires to pay to Community Education Center the sum of Four- <br /> <br />teen Thousand Seven Hundred and No/IOO Dollars ($14,700,00) ~ and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for ap- <br /> <br />proval an agreement between the City of Redwood City and Community <br /> <br />Education Center, and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLO'i-IS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 8/2/82), by and between <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City and Community Education Center, a copy <br /> <br />of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br /> <br />which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, <br /> <br />is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and <br /> <br />directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9184 <br />
