<br />7/21/82 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. , <br /> <br />9185 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />AUG 9 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH SERVICE LEAGUE OF SAN MATEO COUNTY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Service League of San Mateo County has been <br /> <br />established for the principal purpose of providing short term <br /> <br />assistance to persons recently released from correctional systems <br /> <br />and their families in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Service League of San Mateo County has requested <br /> <br />financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities <br /> <br />during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1982 and ending <br /> <br />June 30, 1983; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has received said request <br /> <br />and desires to pay to Service League of San Mateo County the sum <br /> <br />of One Thousand Fifty and No/IOO Dollars ($1,050.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval <br /> <br />an agreement between the City of Redwood City and Service League <br /> <br />of San Mateo County, and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated. (7/21/82), by and between <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City and Service League of San Mateo County, a <br /> <br />copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, <br /> <br />to which copy ,reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, <br /> <br />is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and <br /> <br />directed to execute same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9 ] 0 C' <br />v ". 0 ~) <br />
