<br />swr ijg-c 8/3/82 <br /> <br />0RIG!~.L~L <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 9 19 0 <br /> <br />AUG 9 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH THE SAN MATEO COUNTY <br />CONVENTION AND VISI'rORS BUREAU FOR PROMOTIONAL SERVICES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this city and the San Mateo County Convention <br /> <br />and Visitors Bureau entered into an agreement whereby said <br /> <br />..."'.... ~ <br /> <br />Bureau provides certain advertising and promotional services <br /> <br />to the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council an <br /> <br />amendment to such agreement by and between the City and the <br /> <br />Bureau whereby the City will compensate the Bureau for <br /> <br />providing advertising and promotional services in the lump sum <br /> <br />of Twenty Thousand and No/IOO Dollars ($20,000.00) for each <br /> <br />fiscal year the agreement is in effect, and it is the intention <br /> <br />of this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NO"V'l, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement by and between the city of Redwood <br /> <br />city and the San Mateo County Convention and visitors Bureau <br /> <br />entitled "Amendment to Agreement Between San Mateo County <br /> <br />Convention and Visitors Bureau and the city of Redwood city <br /> <br />for Promotional Services" (form dated 8/3/82), for the furnishing <br /> <br />of certain community promotional services, a copy of which agree- <br /> <br />ment is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy <br /> <br />referenced is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, <br /> <br />is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized <br /> <br />and directed to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the <br /> <br />city of Redwood city. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />919 U <br />
