All establishments used <br />for institutional purposes, both private and public, <br />including schools, colleges, rest homes, clubs, <br />public buildings, lodges and other similar <br />class of use--a minimum charge of $8.16 per <br />month plus an additional monthly charge based <br />upon the number of cubic feet of waste or <br />wastewater discharged or deposited monthly <br />into the sewerage facilities, as follows: <br /> <br />Monthly Rate: $0.79 per hundred cubic feet of water <br />discharged or deposited in excess of 1,000 cubic <br />feet; <br /> <br />n(6) Hospitals. An institution where the sick or injured <br />are given medical or surgical care--a minimum <br />monthly charge of $8.16 per month plus an <br />additional monthly charge based upon the number <br />of cubic feet of waste or wastewater discharged <br />or deposited monthly into the sewerage facilities, <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Monthly Rate: $0.84 per hundred cubic feet of water <br />discharged or deposited in excess of 1,000 cubic <br />feet; <br /> <br />" (7) Industrial. All establishments used for industrial <br />purposes including, but not limited to, <br />manufacturing plants, processing plants, producers, <br />laundries, photo processors, electric service <br />institutions, packagers and other similar class of <br />use--a minimum monthly charge of $8.16 per month <br />plus an additional monthly charge based upon the <br />number of cubic feet of waste or wastewater <br />discharged or deposited monthly into the sewerage <br />facilities, as follows: <br /> <br />Monthly Rate: $0.68 per hundred cubic feet of <br />water discharged or deposited in excess of 1,000 <br />cubic feet; $0.074 per lb. of suspended solids <br />discharged; $0.068 per lb. of biochemical oxygen <br />demand discharged. <br /> <br />n (b) User Categories. The determination of the <br /> <br />appropriate user category for a particular premise shall be <br /> <br />made by the Director based upon the waste or wastewater <br /> <br />characteristics of such user, including such factors as <br /> <br />biochemical oxygen demand, suspended solids, and volume, <br /> <br />2 <br />
