<br />SWC:djg-c 8/20/82 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 9 200 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />AUG 2 3 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR HAWES PARK PARKING LOT AND <br />RED MORTON PARK PARKING LOT IMPROVEMENTS; REJECTING <br />ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br />SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9174, adopted August <br /> <br />9, 1982, the City Clerk called for bids for Hawes Park Parking <br /> <br />Lot and Red Morton Parking Lot Improvements in the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, C.F. Archibald Paving, Inc., Redwood City, Calif- <br /> <br />ornia, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention <br /> <br />and desire of this Council to award said bid to said C.F. <br /> <br />Archibald Paving, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOVlS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of C.F. Archibald Paving, Inc. in the sum of <br /> <br />One Hundred Sixty-six Thousand Eight Hundred Twenty-seven and <br /> <br />25/100 Dollars ($166,827.25) computed in accordance with <br /> <br />bidder's proposal dated August 20, 1982, for Hawes Park Parking <br /> <br />Lot and Red Morton Park Parking Lot Improvements is hereby <br /> <br />accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />for the abovementioned work, other than the bid mentioned in <br /> <br />paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />9200 <br />
