SWC:djg-c ~:djg-c 9/8/82 9/13/82R ORIGINAL RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 9208 SEP 1 3 1982 RESOLUTION VACATING PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT (CHEW STREET) IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 OF DIVISION 9, STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 (commencing at ~8300) of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, the Council of the City of Redwood City by its Resolution No. 9171, adopted August 9, 1982, declared its intention to vacate the hereinafter described public service easement; and WHEREAS, pursuant to said provisions of the Streets and Highways Code, notice of intention to vacate the described public service easement has been published and posted; and WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held and evidence taken; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. The Council of the City of Redwood City finds that the hereinafter described public service easement is unnecessary for present or prospective public purposes and hereby orders said easement vacated. 2. The public service easement vacated is described on the plat attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, entitled "Plat of Quit Claim Part of Public Utility Easement (Chew Street)," marked Exhibit "A", and is more particularly described as set forth on Exhibit "B", attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to record a certified copy of this resolution and order in the office of the County Recorder of the County of San Mateo. * * * 9208
