<br />rGM:djg-c 9/15/82 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9229 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />SEP 2 0 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR MARINE WORLD PARKWAY OVERLAY AND <br />SPOT RECONSTRUCTION 1982-83; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS <br />RECEIVED; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br />WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9197, adopted August 23, <br /> <br />1982, the City Clerk called for bids for Marine World Parkway Overlay <br /> <br /> <br />and Spot Reconstruction 1982-83 in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Dorsa Paving, Inc., San Jose, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to said Dorsa Paving, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Dorsa Paving, Inc. in the sum of One Hundred <br /> <br />Fifteen Thousand Five Hundred Thirty-three and No/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($115,533.00) computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />September 7, 1982, Marine World Parkway and Spot Reconstruction <br /> <br />1982-83, and in accordance with the specifications therefor, is <br /> <br />hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to <br /> <br />be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />for the abovementioned work, other than the bid mentioned in <br /> <br />paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />that certain agreement entitled "Agreement" by and between the <br /> <br />9229 <br />
