<br />SWC:mf 10/20/82 <br />SWC:mf 10/25/82R <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9247 <br /> <br />ORIGI~lAL <br />OCT 2 5 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION VACATING PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT (WALKWAY) <br />IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 <br />OF DIVISION 9, STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE <br />OF CALIFORNIA, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 (commencing at <br /> <br />~8300) of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of <br /> <br />California, the Council of the City of Redwood City by its Resolution <br /> <br />Resolution No. 9232, adopted September 27, 1982, declared its <br /> <br />intention to vacate the hereinafter described public service <br /> <br />easement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said provisions of the Streets and <br /> <br />Highways Code, notice of intention to vacate the described public <br /> <br />service easement has been published and posted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held and evidence taken; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The Council of the City of Redwood City finds that the <br /> <br />hereinafter described public service easement is unnecessary for <br /> <br />present or prospective public purposes and hereby orders said <br /> <br />easement vacated, subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />(a) The property owners requesting the abandonment shall <br /> <br />pay a fee of $100.00 to cover the costs of advertising for the <br /> <br />public hearing; <br /> <br />(b) The adjacent owners to whom the abandoned property <br /> <br />9247 <br />
