<br />CGM:djg-c 10/21/82 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />OCT 2 5 1982 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9248 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING OF TWELVE <br />COMPACT PICKUP TRUCKS; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9120, adopted June 7, 1982, <br /> <br />the City Clerk called for bids in accordance with revised specifi- <br /> <br />cations for the furnishing of twelve compact pickup trucks; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> <br />with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipment and it <br /> <br />is the intention of this Council to award said bid to E-Z Davies <br /> <br />Chevrolet; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of E-Z Davies Chevrolet, in the total lump <br /> <br />sum of Ninety-one Thousand One Hundred Seventy-four and No/I00 <br /> <br />Dollars ($91,174.00), plus sales tax for the furnishing <br /> <br />of twelve compact pickup trucks, in accordance with the bidding <br /> <br />proposal, and in accordance with the revised specifications therefor <br /> <br />on file in the office of the City Clerk, is hereby accepted and said <br /> <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible <br /> <br />bidder for the furnishing of said equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an <br /> <br />9,248 <br />
