<br />SWC:djg-c 10/22/82 <br /> <br />OR'G'NAL <br /> <br />Nav 1 1982 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9255 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF WATER MAIN EXTENSION <br />(OAK KNOLL DRIVE) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City provides annually for the <br /> <br />construction of various water main improvements throughout the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City in assessing the priorities for water main <br /> <br />improvements for the 19-82-83 fiscal year did not include a water <br /> <br />main extension for Oak Knoll Drive between Hillcrest Drive and <br /> <br />Upland Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, certain owners of real property on the above <br /> <br />referenced portion of Oak Knoll Drive have advised the City that <br /> <br />they are willing to pay a substantial part of the cost of the <br /> <br />water main extension for such portion of Oak Knoll Drive if the <br /> <br />City will include the construction of a water main extension in <br />its water mall replacement program for fiscal year 1982-83; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council an <br /> <br />agreement between the City of Redwood'City and Herbert Ellis and <br /> <br />J.B. Jones, for the construction by the City, and contribution <br /> <br />payment therefor by Ellis and Jones, of a water main extension <br /> <br />on Oak Knoll Drive between Hillcrest Drive and Upland Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve said agreement and <br /> <br />to authorize execution thereof; <br /> <br />9255 <br />
