<br />CGM:djg-c 1/07/83 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />JAN 1 7 1983 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9290 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN DESCRIBED CITY-OWNED <br />PROPERTY SURPLUS; AND AUTHORIZING SALE OR EXCHANGE <br />THEREOF (TRUCK) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City is the owner of certain <br /> <br />property hereinafter described; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence that the <br /> <br />hereinafter described property is not needed for present or <br /> <br />prospective municipal or public purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Assessor has appraised said property <br /> <br />and determined that the current reasonable market value of <br /> <br />the item to be declared surplus is less than Five Thousand <br /> <br />Dollars ($5,000.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council <br /> <br />to declare said property surplus and authorize its sale or <br /> <br />exchange in accordance with Section 3-1/2 of the Charter of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. This Council hereby finds, determines and declares <br /> <br />that Pickup Truck Unit No. 1396, a 1968 Dodge is surplus; that <br /> <br />it is no longer necessary or required for municipal or public <br /> <br />purposes; and that the appraised value of such item is less than Five <br /> <br />Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00). <br /> <br />2. This Council hereby authorizes the sale or exchange of <br /> <br />the above described City-owned property in accordance with Section <br /> <br />3-1/2 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9 (-" r\ fO <br />J '._, ^ <br />/.."
