<br />SWC:mf 2/17/83 <br /> <br />ORfGINAL <br /> <br />FEa 2 8 1983 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION VACATING PORTION OF PUBLIC STREET (TACOMA <br />WAY) IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH <br />PART 3 OF DIVISION 9, STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE <br />OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9308 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 (commencing <br /> <br />with ~8300) of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the <br /> <br />State of California, the Council of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />by its Resolution No. 9301, adopted February 7, 1983, declared <br /> <br />its intention to vacate the hereinafter described portion of <br /> <br />Tacoma Way; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said provisions of the Streets and <br /> <br />Highways Code, notice of intention to vacate the described portion <br /> <br />of the abovementioned street has been published and posted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held and evidence taken; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The Council of the City of Redwood City finds that the <br /> <br />hereinafter described portion of Tacoma Way is unnecessary for <br /> <br />present or prospective public purposes and hereby orders said <br /> <br />portion of Tacoma Way vacated. <br /> <br />2. The portion of Tacoma Way vacated is described on the <br /> <br />plat attached hereto, and incorporated herein by reference, <br /> <br />9308 <br />
