<br />SWC:mf 2/18/83 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9312 <br /> <br />OHIGINAL <br />FEe 2 8 1983 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br />FOR WEED ABATEMENT BY DISKING - 1982-83; AND <br />AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Redwood City Code Chapter 14 provides for a <br /> <br />procedure for the abatement of undesirable vegetation, rubbish, <br /> <br />and rank growth in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in order to accomplish said weed abatement program <br /> <br />within the City, it is necessary and desirable that certain disking <br /> <br />work be performed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, specifications for disking work have been prepared <br /> <br />by the Director of Public Works; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Those certain specifications entitled "Specifications <br /> <br />and General Requirements to Bidders for Weed Eradication - Disking - <br /> <br />1982-83 in the City of Redwood City, California," a copy of which <br /> <br />specifications is presently on file in the office of the Department <br /> <br />of Public Works, to which copy reference is hereby made for full <br /> <br />particulars thereof, is hereby approved. <br /> <br />2. The City Clerk 1S hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />advertise for bids for the performance of weed eradication in <br /> <br />accordance with the abovementioned specifications. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9312 <br />
