<br />SWC:djg-c 3/3/83 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County Assessor has determined the full cash <br /> <br />value of the land for which said petition has been filed, and <br />has certified to this Council the cancellation evaluation of said <br />land for the purpose of determining the cancellation fee required <br /> <br /> <br />pursuant to Government Code Section 51283, and has further <br /> <br />determined that pursuant to Government Code Section 51283.1 no <br /> <br /> <br />additional deferred taxes will be required for cancellation of <br /> <br /> <br />said contracts; and <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after notice and public hearing and upon <br /> <br /> <br />consideration of the entire record before it, this Council does <br /> <br />hereby find and determine as hereinafter set forth; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />1. This Council hereby finds that the proposed alternative <br /> <br /> <br />use of the subject land is for residental use, which use is <br /> <br /> <br />consistent with the General Plan which was in effect on October <br /> <br />1, 1981. Pursuant to Resolution No. 8894, adopted July 13, 1981, <br /> <br /> <br />this Council adopted the "Horgan Ranch Specific Plan", thereby <br /> <br /> <br />designating the subject property as low density residential. <br /> <br />2. This Council further finds that cancellation of said <br /> <br /> <br />four contracts, and the proposed alternate use of said land, will <br /> <br /> <br />not result in discontiguous patterns of urban development.
