<br />DES:djg-c <br />3:djg-c <br /> <br />5/20/83 <br />5/21/83R <br /> <br />ORI"'ICd'~ L <br />ul'lf-! <br /> <br />9349 <br /> <br />MAY 2 3 1983 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF QUITCLAIM <br />DEED OF INTERESTS ACQUIRED UNDER CERTAIN GIFT DEEDS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City acquired certain interests <br /> <br />pursuant to that certain instrument entitled "Gift Deed (Estate <br /> <br />for Years)" by and between Leslie Salt Co., a Delaware corporation <br /> <br />and the City dated December 28, 1959 (the "1959 Gift Deed"), <br /> <br />pertaining to the property described in Exhibit "A" attached to <br /> <br />the form Quitclaim Deed (marked Exhibit I) attached hereto and by <br /> <br />this reference incorporated herein; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City also acquired certain <br /> <br />interests pursuant to that certain instrument entitled "Gift Deed <br /> <br />(Estate for Years)" by and between Leslie Salt Co., a Delaware <br /> <br />corporation and the City dated September 14, 1964 (the "1964 Gift <br /> <br />Deed"), pertaining to the property described in Exhibit "B" <br /> <br />attached to the form of Quitclaim Deed attached hereto <br /> <br />(Exhibit I); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the owner or owner's agent of the fee interest under- <br /> <br />lying the properties encumbered by the interests conveyed pursuant <br /> <br />to the 1959 Gift Deed and the 1964 Gift Deed propose to develop <br /> <br />properties in the vicinity of, and including the properties so <br /> <br />encumbered; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with said proposed development the <br /> <br />City has approved that certain parcel map designated Parcel Map <br /> <br />82-1 encompassing said lands; and <br /> <br />9~~49 <br />
