<br />D~S:djg-c 6/3/83 <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City. The acquisition of said property <br /> <br />lS authorized, without limitation, by to the provisions of <br /> <br />Section 3 and 3~ of the Charter of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />and Section 37350.5 of the Government Code. <br /> <br />3. This Council hereby declares that it has found and <br /> <br />determined each of the following with respect to the proposed <br /> <br />acquisition: <br /> <br />(a) The public interest and necessity require the <br />proposed acquisition in that the property be <br />acquired and the use thereof by the City for <br />municipal purposes as aforesaid will provide <br />street lighting services in a manner more <br />economical and efficient than that currently <br />provided. <br /> <br />(b) The proposed acquisition is planned or located <br />in the manner that will be most compatible with <br />the greatest public good and the least private <br />injury in that the property will be acquired <br />in its existing condition and at its existing <br />location without inconvenience to the owner <br />thereof or to the general public. <br /> <br />(c) The property described in Exhibit "A" hereof <br />is necessary for the proposed use in that <br />said property consists of the physical <br />facilities and appurtenances necessary to <br />provide street lighting services in the areas <br />of the City within which said facilities and <br />appurtenances are located. <br /> <br />(d) The offer specified by Section 7267.2 of the <br />Government Code has been made to the owner of <br />the property to be acquired; provided, that <br />this finding does not constitute acknowledgement <br />by this Council that said finding is required in <br />the instant proceedings. <br /> <br />4. This Council hereby further finds, determines and <br /> <br />declares that notice of hearing was duly given to the owner of <br /> <br />2 <br />
