DES:dj~ 04/29/96 (074/32) <br /> <br /> 5. Monday, the 24th day of June, 1996, at the hour of 7:30 <br />o'clock p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, <br />at the regular meeting place of this Council, in the Chambers of <br />the Board of Supervisors, Hall of Justice and Records, 401 <br />Marshall Street, Redwood City, California, are the date, time and <br />place hereby fixed for hearing by this Council on any and all <br />protests in relation to said benefit assessments and said budget, <br />at which hearing this Council shall examine said report and hear <br />all persons interested therein. <br /> <br /> Any interested owner objecting to the amount of the <br />assessment on any lot or parcel of property owned by him or her <br />may file with the City Clerk at or before the hour fixed for <br />hearing a protest, in writing, signed by him or her, describing <br />the lot or parcel of property owned by him or her so that it may <br />be identified, and stating the grounds of his or her protest, and <br />said person may appear at said hearing and be heard with regard <br />thereto. <br /> <br /> 6. The City Clerk shall be, and is hereby, authorized and <br />directed to give notice of said hearing by causing a copy of a <br />"Notice of Hearing" to be: (i) mailed, postage prepaid, to the <br />owners of any lot or parcel of property subject to a benefit <br />assessment to pay said costs of maintenance and operation, (ii) <br />published once in the Official Newspaper of the City, and (iii) <br />posted on or near the Council chamber door or any bulletin board <br />in or adjacent to the City Hall. Said mailing, publication and <br />posting shall be completed not less than ten (10) days prior to <br />the date fixed for such hearing. <br /> <br /> 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
