<br />S~.vC : rb 6/8/83 <br />SWC:rb 6/l5/83R <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9375 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />JUN 2 0 1983 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />REVOCABLE ENCROACHMENT PERMIT FOR LANDSCAPING CERTAIN <br />CITY OWNED REAL PROPERTY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Redwood Shores, Inc., as owner of real property <br /> <br />commonly known as Lot 4, Block C, Subdivision No.1, Redwood City, <br /> <br />California, has requested permission to construct and maintain <br /> <br />certain improvements relating to landscaping upon a portion of the <br /> <br />real property adjacent to Island Drive, owned by the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />grant a revocable encroachment permit permitting such use, subject <br /> <br />to certain specified terms and conditions; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a <br /> <br />revocable encroachment permit to Redwood Shores, Inc. to construct <br /> <br />and maintain landscaping and other improvements upon a portion of <br /> <br />the realpDJperty adjacent to Island Drive, owned by the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City, which permit shall not be effective until such time <br /> <br />as Redwood Shores, Inc. executes an acceptance of its terms and <br /> <br />conditions. <br /> <br />2. The permit herein granted shall be in the form of that <br /> <br />certain permit entitled "Grant of Revocable Permit-Island Drive <br /> <br />9 .~ '7 <br />vr>0 <br />
