<br />'I 6/83 <br /> <br />OR!GrN,~L <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />9407 <br /> <br />JUl 2.~ bdj <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH SERVICE LEAGUE OF SAN MATEO COUNTY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Service League of San Mateo County has been <br /> <br />established for the principal purpose of providing short term <br /> <br />assistance to persons recently released from correctional systems <br /> <br />and their families in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Service League of San Mateo County has requested <br /> <br />financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities <br /> <br />during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1983 and ending <br /> <br />June 30, 1984; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has received said request <br /> <br />and desires to pay to Service League of San Mateo County the <br /> <br />sum of Three Thousand and No/IOO Dollars ($3,000.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval <br /> <br />an agreement between the City of Redwood City and Service League <br /> <br />of San Mateo County, and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 7/6/83), by and between <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City and Service League of San Mateo County, <br /> <br />a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City <br /> <br />Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full <br /> <br />particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager <br /> <br />is hereby authorized and directed to execute same for and on <br /> <br />behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9407 <br />
