<br />SWC:djg-c 9/16/83 <br /> <br />of Redwood City and to avoid creating an island of county area <br /> <br />within Redwood City;" and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council proposes to initiate proceedings to <br /> <br />annex said territory subject to certain conditions hereinafter set <br /> <br />forth; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Monday, October 24, 1983, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock <br /> <br />p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the <br /> <br />Board of Supervisors Chambers, 401 Marshall Street, Redwood City, <br /> <br />California, is hereby fixed as the time and place where a hearing <br /> <br />will be held on the proposed annexation designated "Annexation <br /> <br />of Lands of Redwood City Medical Clinic et al. to the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City (4.57 AC)." <br /> <br />2. This Council hereby proposes to condition said <br /> <br />annexation in the following manner: <br /> <br />(a) That said annexation shall be conditioned upon the <br />construction of adequate hydrants and water lines <br />for fire suppression purposes, to the satisfaction <br />of the Director of Public Works; and <br /> <br />(b) That said annexation shall be conditioned upon the <br />transfer of sewage capacity to the City from any <br />sewer district outside the City which is currently <br />serving the territory proposed to be annexed; and <br /> <br />(c) That said annexation shall be conditioned upon, and <br />subject to, the declaration of all owners of property <br />abutting that portion of Upland Road included in the <br />territory proposed to be annexed, that such portion <br /> <br />2 <br />
