<br />SWC:rb 9/13/83 <br /> <br />r' '""/f'INAl <br />-. ..u <br /> <br />9445 <br /> <br />SEP 1 9 1983 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH MIDPENINSULA CITIZENS FOR FAIR HOUSING <br />(EQUAL HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City is concerned that equal <br /> <br />housing opportunities be provided to residents and potential <br /> <br />residents of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Midpeninsula Citizens for Fair Housing has <br /> <br />informed the City of Redwood City that it is experienced in <br /> <br />providing services to individuals who encounter illegal housing <br /> <br />discrimination; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires that Midpeninsula Citizens <br /> <br />for Fair Housing provide such services to residents and <br /> <br />potential residents of Redwood City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreement (Equal Housing <br /> <br />Opportunities)" (form dated 9/14/83), a copy of which agreement <br /> <br />is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy <br /> <br />reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is <br /> <br />hereby approved; and the City Manager is hereby authorized to <br /> <br />execute the agreement approved herein for and on behalf of the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9445 <br />
