<br />CGM:djg-c <br />1:djg-c <br /> <br />11/4/83 <br />11/7/83R <br /> <br />ORIGI NAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9471 <br /> <br />Nav 'l 1983 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF ROAD <br />ROLLER; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9442, adopted September <br /> <br />19, 1983, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of one <br /> <br />road roller; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />furnishing of said equipment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Golden State Equipment Co, Fremont, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equip- <br /> <br />ment, and it is the intention of this Council to award said bid <br /> <br />to Golden State Equipment Co.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Golden State Equipment Co., in the total lump <br /> <br />sum of Eighteen Thousand Three Hundred Twelve and 85/100 Dollars <br />($18,312.85), for the furnishing of one Road Roller in accordance <br /> <br />with the specifications therefor on file in the office of the City <br /> <br />Clerk, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and <br /> <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of <br /> <br />said equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an <br /> <br />agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City with <br /> <br />Golden State Equipment Co., for the furnishing of the above- <br /> <br />9 /11'.> <br />':1 ~ <br />
