<br />SWC:rb 12/02/83 <br /> <br />NOvl, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. This Council hereby finds and determines that: <br /> <br />(a) The value of written protests filed and not <br />withdrawn by the owners of land who own property <br />within the above described territory is less than <br />25 percent of the total assessed value of land <br />within the territory; <br /> <br />(b) The value of written protests filed and not <br />withdrawn by registered voters within the above <br />described territory exceeds 25 percent but is less <br />than 50 percent of the registered voters within <br />said territory. <br /> <br />2. Pursuant to the provisions of Government Code Section <br /> <br />35228(b), this Council hereby orders the territory annexed <br /> <br />subject to the confirmation of the voters on the question. <br /> <br />3. This Council hereby calls a special election to be <br /> <br />held, at which election the following question shall be submitted <br /> <br />to the voters residing in the territory to be annexed: <br /> <br />"Shall the order adopted on December 5, 1983 by <br />the Council of the City of Redwood City ordering <br />the annexation to said city of the territory de- <br />scribed in said order and designated as "Annexation <br />of Lands of Redwood Medical Clinic et ale to the <br />City of Redwood City (4.57 AC)" be confirmed?" <br /> <br />4. The territory within which such special election shall <br /> <br />be held has been designated as "Annexation of Lands of Redwood <br /> <br />Medical Clinic et al. to the City of Redwood City (4.57 AC)". <br /> <br />5. The date of the election shall be at the next regular <br /> <br />election, which shall be April 10, 1984. <br /> <br />2 <br />
