<br />SWC:rb 12/27/83 <br /> <br />9503 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />JAN 9 1984 <br /> <br />RES 0 10 UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING AND <br />INSTALLATION OF ESCALATOR BULLET TRAP; AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9480, adopted November <br /> <br />21, 1983, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing and <br /> <br />installation of an escalator bullet trap for the Police Firing <br /> <br />Range; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />furnishing and installation of said equipment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Caswell Equipment Co., Inc., Minneapolis, <br /> <br />Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing <br /> <br />and installation of said equipment, and it is the intention of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to Caswell Equipment Co., Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Caswell Equipment Co., Inc., in the total <br /> <br />lump sum of Ten Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy-six and 56/100 <br /> <br />Dollars ($10,776.56), for the furnishing and installation of an <br /> <br />escalator bullet trap in accordance with the specifications <br /> <br />therefor on file in the office of the City Clerk, is hereby <br /> <br />accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing and installation of <br /> <br />said equipment. <br /> <br />9 50~J <br />
