<br />DRS:djg-c 12/8/83 <br /> <br />9505 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />JAN 9 1984 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY PROPOSING CERTAIN <br />AMENDMENTS TO THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND <br />ORDERING SUBMISSION THEREOF TO THE ELECTORS OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY AT THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION OF APRIL 10, <br />1984 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. The Council of Redwood City does hereby propose, <br /> <br />on its motion, that those certain amendments hereinafter set forth <br /> <br />be made to the Charter of the City of Redwood City, and does <br /> <br />hereby order that such proposed Charter amendments be submitted to <br /> <br />the electors of the City of Redwood City at the General Municipal <br /> <br />Election to be held on Tuesday, April 10, 1984. <br /> <br />All electors of the City of Redwood City qualified to vote at <br /> <br />the General Election in the City of Redwood City on April 10, <br /> <br />1984, shall be qualified to vote on the proposed Charter amend- <br /> <br />ments submitted at said election. <br /> <br />The polls shall be opened at seven o'clock a.m. on said day <br /> <br />of election and shall be kept open continuously thereafter until <br /> <br />eight o'clock p.m. of said day, when the polls shall be closed <br /> <br />(except as provided in ~14301 of the Elections Code), and the <br /> <br />election officers shall thereupon proceed to canvass the ballots <br /> <br />cast thereat. <br /> <br />Where a voting system is used at said General Municipal <br /> <br />Election the provisions of Chapter 3, Division 11, of the <br /> <br />Elections Code shall govern such usage, and the ballot card or <br /> <br />9505 <br />
