<br />SWC:rks <br />SWC:rks <br /> <br />2/23/84 <br />2/29/84R <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />95U <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />MAR 5 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF TWO-2~ TON <br />DUMP TRUCKS AND TWO COMPACT PICKUP TRUCKS; AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9502, adopted January <br /> <br />19, 1984, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of <br /> <br />two-2~ ton dump trucks and two compact pickup trucks; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />furnishing of said equipment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, South Bay Ford Truck Sales, San Jose, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said <br /> <br />equipment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention of this Council to award said <br /> <br />bid to South Bay Ford Truck Sales; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of South Bay Ford Truck Sales, in the total lump <br /> <br />sum of Seventy-Three Thousand Five Hundred Thirty-One and 86/100 <br /> <br />Dollars ($73,531.86) for the furnishing of two-2~ ton dump trucks <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />two <br /> <br />compact <br /> <br />pickup <br /> <br />trucks <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />accordance <br /> <br />with <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />specifications therefor on file in the office of the City Clerk, <br /> <br />is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared <br /> <br />to be the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said <br /> <br />equipment. <br /> <br />~ 5 ~3 1 <br />
