RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 9532 MAR 5 1984 RESOLUTION AND ORDER OF COUNCIL OF CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DESIGNATING PRECINCTS AND POllING PLACES AND APPOINTING MEMBERS OF PRECINCT BOARDS FOR GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, APRIL 10, 1984, AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH OR CAUSE TO BE PUBLISHED A NOTICE OF ELECTION, LIST OF ELECTION OFFICERS AND POLLING PLACES AND NOTICE OF NOMINEES FOR PUBLIC OFFICE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. That for the conduct of the general municipal election to be held in said City on April 10, 1984, the City of Redwood City shall be divided into 34 precincts as now established of record by the Board of Supervisors of San Mateo County, State of California, for general state and county election purposes in said City. That for the conduct of the general municipal election to be <br />held in said City on April 10, 1984, the City of Redwood City shall be <br /> <br />divided into 34 precincts as now established of record by the Board of <br />Supervisors of San Mateo County, State of California, for general state <br /> <br />and county election purposes in said City. Pursuant to the provisions of <br /> <br />Section 22804 of the Elections Code, said precincts are consolidated. <br /> <br />2. The identification of the polling places for each precinct <br /> <br />established herein and the election officers appointed to conduct said <br /> <br />election thereat shall be as set forth in "Exhibit A," attached hereto <br /> <br />and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />3. The officers to be elected at said general municipal election <br />shall be four Councilmen for the full term of four years each. <br /> <br />Propositions to be voted upon at said election are specified in <br /> <br />Resolution No. 9505, adopted January 9, 1984. <br /> <br />4. The compensation of each of the election officers hereby <br />appointed, and in full therefor, is hereby fixed as follows: $47.00 to <br />each inspector and $42.50 to each judge. <br /> <br />5. The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish or cause to be <br /> <br />published in the Redwood City Almanac in the time, form and manner <br /> <br />required by law, a notice of election, a list of election officers and <br /> <br />polling places and a notice of nominees for public office. <br /> <br />9532 <br /> <br />*** <br />
