<br />EXHIBIT "A" <br /> <br />RULE XX - TIME LIMITS FOR REVIEW OF DIVISIONS <br /> <br />RULE XX IS HEREBY ADDED TO THE PERSONNEL RULES AND <br /> <br />REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY TO READ AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Rule XX is hereby added to the Personnel Rules and <br /> <br />Regulations of the City of Redwood City to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section <br /> <br />1. Application of <br />9 53 7 entitled, <br /> <br />C.C.P.~1094.6 <br /> <br />Pursuant to <br /> <br />Resolution No. <br /> <br />"RESOLUTION ADDING RULE XX TO <br /> <br />THE PERSONNEL RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />MAKING THE PROVISIONS OF CODE OF CIVIL CODE PROCEDURE SECTION <br /> <br />1094.6 APPLICABLE TO CERTAIN ADMINISTRATIVE DECISIONS, AND <br /> <br />ESTABLISHING TIME LIMITS FOR JUDICIAL REVIEW THEREOF" adopted <br /> <br />MAR 1 2 <br /> <br />,1984 by the Council of Redwood City, judicial review <br /> <br />of any decision of this city or any commission, board, officer or <br /> <br />agent thereof, suspending, demoting, or dismissing an officer or <br /> <br />employee of the City may be made pursuant to Code of Civil <br /> <br />Procedure Section 1094.5 only if the petition for writ of mandate <br /> <br />pursuant to such section is filed within the time limits <br /> <br />specified in this Rule. <br /> <br />"Section 2. <br /> <br />Time Limits Any such petition shall be filed <br /> <br />not later than the 90th day following the date on which the <br /> <br />decision becomes final. <br /> <br />"If there is no provision for reconsideration of the <br /> <br />decision in any applicable provision of any statute, charter, or <br /> <br />rule, for the purposes of this Rule, the decision is final on the <br /> <br />date it is made.
