<br />DCB:djg-c 3/15/84 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9539 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />MAR 1 9 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AN APPLICATION FOR A PEID1IT TO <br />CONSTRUCT A BICYCLE BRIDGE OVER REDWOOD CREEK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City is having plans and specifications <br /> <br />prepared for a bicycle bridge over Redwood Creek; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bridge would cross tidal waters under the <br /> <br />jurisdiction of the United States Coast Guard; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, approval of such bridge must be granted by the <br /> <br />Commandant of the 12th Coast Guard District, Alameda, California; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The Council of the City of Redwood City finds the <br /> <br />approval of the Commandant of the 12th Coast Guard District is <br /> <br />required to construct a bicycle bridge over Redwood Creek. <br /> <br />2. The City Hanager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute said application for a permit to construct a bicycle <br /> <br />bridge over the tidal water of Redwood Creek on behalf of the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9539 <br />
