<br />DCB:rks 3/16/84 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9541 <br /> <br />MAR 1 9 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER 'l'O SUBMIT AN <br />APPLICA'l'ION FOR A S'I'A'l'E OF THE ART, CAREER CRIMINAL <br />APPREHENSION PROGRAM GRAN'l' 'l'O 'l'HE OFFICE OF CRIMINAL <br />JUS'I'ICE AND PLANNING <br /> <br />WHF:REAS, the City of Redwood City desires to undertake a <br /> <br />certain project designated State of the Art, Career Criminal <br /> <br />Apprehension Program, to be funded in part from funds made <br /> <br />available through State General Funds Fiscal Year 84/85, as <br /> <br />authorized by Chapter 1167 of the 1978 Statutes for the Career <br /> <br />Criminal Apprehension Program, administered by the Office of <br /> <br />Criminal Justice Planning (hereinafter referred to as "OCJP"); <br /> <br />NOvJ, 'I'HEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CI'l'Y, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That the City Manager is hereby authorized to submit the <br /> <br />attached Application for Grant for Law Enforcement Purposes to <br /> <br />OCJP and is authorized to execute on behalf of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City the attached Grant Award for law enforcement <br /> <br />purposes, including any extensions or amendments thereof; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: <br /> <br />That the City agrees to provide appropriate matching funds <br /> <br />required for said project (including any extension or amendment <br /> <br />thereof), subject to available appropriatjons thereof, under the <br /> <br />State of the Art, Career Criminal Apprehension Program, and the <br /> <br />rules and regulations of OCJP; and <br /> <br />9541 <br />
