<br />DF.S:djg-c 3/23/84 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9548 <br /> <br />ORIGIN.AL <br />APR 2 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />FOR CONSULTING LEGAL SERVICES PERTAINING TO MAINTENANCE <br />ASSESSMENT DISTRICTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this City may from time to time desire to establish <br /> <br />benefi t maintenance assessment districts to pay the costs and <br /> <br />expenses of maintaining and operating certain public improvements <br /> <br />in the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, specialized legislation is required to establish <br /> <br />and implement maintenance assessment districts; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the law firm of Wilson, Morton, Assaf & McElligott <br /> <br />represents that it possesses extensive experience in the <br /> <br />specialized field of assessment district law; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an agreement has been presented to this Council <br />between the aforesaid law firm and the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />providing for the furnishing of consulting legal services with <br /> <br />respect to establishing and implementing maintenance assessment <br /> <br />districts; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That <br /> <br />certain <br /> <br />agreement <br /> <br />entitled <br /> <br />"Consultant <br /> <br />Services <br /> <br />Agreement" (form dated 3/23/84) by and between the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of California, <br /> <br />and Wilson, Morton, Assaf & McElligott, for the furnishing of <br /> <br />9548 <br />
