That the City Clerk of the City of Redwood City be, and <br /> <br />is hereby, instructed to enter this resolution on the minutes of <br /> <br />this Council as a statement of the result of said election. <br /> <br />2. That the whole number of votes cast in said City at said <br /> <br />general municipal election was 4,449 votes. <br /> <br />3. That at said election the following propositions and <br /> <br />each of them were submitted to the electors of said City and that <br /> <br />the number of votes given in said City for and against each of <br /> <br />said propositions (including absentee votes) was as follows: <br /> <br />Total Vote <br />"YES" <br /> <br />Total Vote <br />"NO" <br /> <br />PROPOSITION A: Shall Section 72.5 be added <br />to the Redwood City Charter to provide that <br />references to gender in the charter shall <br />mean both masculine and feminine, and that <br />future arrendrrents shall include both genders? 3,416 <br /> <br />1,017 <br /> <br />PROPOSITION B: Shall Sections 9,17,18,21~, <br />and 47a of the Redwood City Charter be <br />amended to provide uniform resident elector <br />requirements for the Council and certain <br />Boards and Commissions? 3,646 <br /> <br />637 <br /> <br />PROPOSITION C: Shall Section 47g of the <br />Redwood City Charter be arrended to provide <br />that the Board of Port Conmissioners shall <br />report annually to the Council on the Port I s <br />activities and future plans and objectives? 3,799 <br /> <br />598 <br /> <br />PROPOSITION D: Shall Section 48d of the <br />Redwood City Charter be amended to provide <br />that the Port Ccmnissioners shall annually <br />pay tothe General Fund of the City any Port <br />profits and surplus funds as determined <br />by the Board? 3,473 <br /> <br />822 <br /> <br />PROPOSITION E: Shall Section 21 be amended, <br />and Section 31 be added to the Redwood City <br />Charter to refer to and establish the <br />position of Director of Finance? 3,101 <br /> <br />1,120 <br /> <br />2 <br />
